CONNECTING YOUR HT/HTE BUTTON BOX

• Plug the USB connector cable from the back of your SIM-PANEL HT/HTE Button Box into any available USB port on your computer.

SETUP AND CONFIGURE YOUR SIM-PANEL HT/HTE Button Box

Applies to configuration within American Truck Simulator™ and European Truck Simulator 2™

• Launch American Truck Simulator™ (ATS) or European Truck Simulator 2™ (ETS2).
• Select "Options" (A) (Image 1) from the bottom of the Garage dialog.
• Select "Controls" (B) (Image 1).
• Locate an unassigned ("None") controller slot at the top of the dialog (Image 2) and select the "SIM-PANEL HT/HTE CONTROLLER" from the drop-down selections.

MAPPING YOUR BUTTON BOX BUTTONS/CONTROLS

IMPORTANT! ENSURE ALL CONTROLS ARE IN THE OFF POSITION PRIOR TO PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING STEPS!

Select "Keys & Buttons" (C) (image 1 above ), then click the "Secondary" mapping button applicable to each listed FUNCTION and perform the corresponding ACTION.

(HTE ONLY) PROGRAMMING AND MAPPING THE AUXILIARY CONTROLS (AUX.1 & AUX. 2)

Both auxiliary controls (AUX. 1 & AUX. 2) may be mapped to any function(s) you wish, including functions that may require special handling. After configuring the desired operation mode (see below), simply perform the same process used to map the standard functions (see above) to your desired in-game function(s).

The auxiliary controls may be programmed to support one of THREE modes by simply pressing/actuating and HOLDING the applicable control until the panel backlighting flashes in accordance with the selected mode (approx. 30 seconds)...

MODE 1 (DEFAULT - 1 flash): Standard control functionality. Game port ON while pressed/actuated and OFF when released.
MODE 2 (2 flashes): Semi gated functionality: Game port momentarily ON-OFF when pressed/actuated and momentarily ON-OFF again when released.
MODE 3 (3 flashes): Full gated functionality: Game port turns ON when pressed/actuated and released and remains ON until pressed/actuated and released again.

(HTE ONLY) CUSTOMIZING YOUR HTE BUTTON BOX

• CUSTOMIZING BACKLIGHTING COLOR

1. Press and HOLD DOWN the button labeled "LIGHTS" (A) while also toggling and HOLDING the toggle labeled "DISPLAY" (B).
2. The label backlighting will begin to cycle.
3. Release both controls upon reaching the desired backlight color.

REMINDER: Press and HOLD the button labeled "LIGHTS" (A) and momentarily press and release the toggle labeled "DISPLAY" (B) to cycle the panel lights on/off.

• CUSTOMIZING INDIVIDUAL LABEL BACKLIGHT COLORS

  1. Turn the IGNITION KEY (C) clockwise to the full START position and HOLD until the backlighting begins to flash, then release back to the RUN position.
     DO NOT TURN BACK TO THE OFF POSITION!
  2. Press and release each individual control repeatedly until the desired backlight color for the control label is reached.
  3. Repeat for each individual label/control.
  4. After customizing all control labels, turn the IGNITION KEY (C) counterclockwise to the OFF position.

• CUSTOMIZING BACKLIGHT INTENSITY

  1. Press and HOLD DOWN the button labeled "LIGHTS" (A) while toggling and holding the toggle labeled "DIFF. LOCK" (E) to INCREASE backlighting intensity or the toggle labeled "Attach Trailer" (E) to DECREASE backlighting intensity.

• RESETTING TO FACTORY DEFAULTS

  1. Simultaneously Press and HOLD the "LIGHTS", "HIGH BEAMS" and "HAZARD" buttons (D).
  2. The panel lights will momentarily flash indicating your SIM-PANEL has been successfully reset. Release buttons.

• UTILIZING THE OPTIONAL DESK CLAMPS

  1. Carefully remove the two plastic plugs located toward the bottom of the button box front panel.
  2. Insert the non-threaded end of both metal L-CLAMPS (included) into the uncovered slots. (SEE NOTE BELOW)
     
     NOTE: A Tight fit is normal and by design. A slight back and forth twisting motion while pressing/inserting the L-CLAMPS into the slots is recommended.
  3. Slide a lower clamping component (included), flat/clamping side first, over the threaded end of each L-CLAMP followed by a wingnut (included).
  4. Position the desktop/tabletop edge between the bottom surface of your SIM-PANEL HT/HTE button box and both lower clamps and tighten wingnuts to secure. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!

Sim-Panel Product Warranty

This Limited Warranty is valid toward the original purchaser only and applies to physical goods, and only for physical goods, purchased from Appcentrix llc under the tradename SIM-PANEL (the "Physical Goods").

What does this limited warranty cover?
This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period.
During the Warranty Period, Appcentrix llc will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

What will we do to correct problems?
Appcentrix llc will either:

• Exchange the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts
• Refund your purchase price, less applicable shipping fees/charges and fees levied by governmental taxing authorities outside of the U.S.

How long does the coverage last?
The Warranty Period for Physical Goods purchased from Appcentrix LLC is ONE YEAR from the date of purchase.
A replacement Physical Good or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original Physical Good or 30 Days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.

What does this limited warranty not cover?
This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:

• Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship
• Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from negligence, improper maintenance or modification
• Theft or loss of the Physical Goods

Who pays for shipping?
Initial return shipping costs and charges are to be pre-paid by the customer. If deemed warrantable, Appcentrix llc will gladly reimburse the customer for all applicable return shipping charges.
Appcentrix llc shall not assume any risk of loss or damage to the Physical Good while in transit to us.
This Limited Warranty is void if the Physical Goods are returned with removed, damaged or tampered labels or any alterations.

What do you have to do?
To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you.
Deliver the Physical Goods, in either its original packaging or in a package that provides an equal degree of protection, including any accessories or documents that shipped with the Physical Goods to the address specified by Appcentrix LLC.

Implied Warranties EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES (INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

Limitation of Damages
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, APPCENTRIX LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

Consumer Protection
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state to state.

Governing Law
This Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of Florida, United States without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles that may provide the application of the law of another jurisdiction.
